Online- registration begins April 1st and on-site at the first practice on May 6th.

Super Mod Practices:

Thursday evenings from May 6-June 10 from  6:00  - 7:00 pm at Hansen Elementary School.

  • Experienced master soccer coach and older youth soccer players from the Blackhills Football Club will work with the players and parent coaches.

  • Players will work on developing dribbling, passing, and other basic soccer skills through the use of drills and age-appropriate games.  Emphasis is on fun!

  • Parent coaches, with the assistance of a master coach and older players, will assist and learn the basic structure of a soccer practice and be exposed to the skill development drills and games that will help prepare them as coaches in the future.  All parent coaches will receive a certificate of coaching from the Deschutes Youth Soccer Association.
Super Mod Games:

  • Saturday Mornings from beginning of May 8 to June 12 from 10-11 am.  No games on Memorial Day Weekend.  Hansen Elementary School

  • 3 players on each side gives the players greater opportunity to touch the ball and improve their skills

  • Parent coaches with the assistance of the master coach will coach the players in the games.

  • Emphasis is on playing for fun; there is no score keeping.  Games are 'refereed' by the Super Mod parent coaches.

Super Mod teams are coached by parent volunteers.  Typically, there is one coach for every 6-8 players.

Super Mod Coaches Needed!   No previous soccer or coaching experience is required!  We will train you each with written instructions for games and drills.
